11 May 2015 - Gibbon in the mist
Had an early start today to get up to the treetop platform for sunrise. It's a nervy climb straight up a 111 rung ladder to the top platform, about 30m up, but the view from the top is worth it. I'd been up there on the second evening and not really seen anything (possibly because of the karaoke blaring out from the camp) but had more luck this morning as a lone gibbon made his way through some trees a little way off and then a common palm civet followed not long after. It was still misty so couldn't get anything particularly clear but managed quite a nice silhouette of the gibbon.
